Solitary and unwavering, the moon is a bare, spherical chunk of rock that has circled the earth for millions of years. Its symbolic magnificence is often taken for granted. She conceals her existence revealing her dark side during the new moon phase and essentially obliterates the light of the stars during her full moon phase. Our daily activities are subject to the natural rhythms, different phases and various positions of the moon. I created this series to remind me that while time is always changing, there is one thing that holds constant. When things may feel out of whack, one can rely on the Universe to bring it back together. If we wait for the phase to end, essentially we can begin anew. Just ebb and flow.
